Play Darkly is both a research and a design studio. It publishes books, texts and other written media under its own imprint.

Current projects include translating the physics of information failure into interactive systems. My work examines how networked information systems generate violence without requiring centralized coordination, explicit conspiracy, or overtly malicious design. The core object of study is the failure mode: the point at which a communication system optimized for speed, affect, engagement, or moral urgency begins to suppress audit, chronology, evidentiary repair, and source discrimination.
